McLean, VA (April 7, 2025) - On Tuesday, April 8, at 11:00 am (EDT), the funeral service will be held for law enforcement icon and legendary Secret Service Agent Clint Hill, who died on February 21 at the age of 93.
While the funeral service is by invitation only, his family invites those who are interested to view it online using the YouTube link below:
Clint’s defining moment came on November 22, 1963, when he leapt onto the back of President John F. Kennedy’s limousine to shield the President and Mrs. Kennedy from the assassin’s bullets. He went on to become the agent in charge of the White House protective detail and eventually rose to assistant director of the Secret Service.
He also became a best-selling author of several books about his Secret Service years. His co-author was his wife, Lisa McCubbin Hill. Clint and Lisa played an instrumental role in helping to build the National Law Enforcement Museum. Clint was also the inspiration for the character portrayed by Clint Eastwood in the 1993 film, "In the Line of Fire," about a Secret Service Agent who had been on detail during President Kennedy's assassination.
